What to do and where to call if your credit cards or telephones are lost or stolen in Switzerland.
Lost or Stolen Credit Card

A lost or stolen credit card should be reported to the police.

In addition, the card must be cancelled with the card company.

Lost or Stolen Mobile Cellular Telephone

The loss or theft of a portable phone should be reported to the police.

It should then be reported to the telecommunications company so that access to the the SIM card can be blocked. 

In both cases it is necessary to provide the telephone and IMEI numbers (the IMEI is the mobile's unique identification number). To find the IMEI number, enter * # 0 6 # on the keypad and keep a record of this.
